I remember when I was in school and the teacher would assign me a project to do. She would give us a time frame to complete this work. Then I would tell myself, “What’s the hurry”. The only problem was that I would start working on the project the night before it was due. Well, now I was in a rush and I ending up doing a pretty crappy project. Fortunately I never failed a grade, but that’s beside the point. The point of my story was that it’s better just to work on something as soon as possible. Waiting won’t get you anywhere. I noticed that people tend to do the same thing when they want to start their own website or blog.
They read, learn, wait and repeat. They do this until they either lose interest or take the plunge. The problem is that people don’t always take that step forward to start a dot com. Why is that? I remember I waited almost a year before I started this blog. I always used the excuse that I needed more information. Of course, I knew everything I could possibly know as a beginner. My father also procrastinated before he started his website. So, I write this to give some advice. If your thinking of starting a website or blog go ahead and create the thing already. What’s the hold up. You will never know how it would turn out until you give it a shot.
Actually creating this blog was the easy part. I had this blog up in about an hour. It’s getting traffic and fine tuning, that’s the hard part. So, my advice would be just put all this info most of you guys know to good use already.
